Meet Anton in our Production Team

Anton recently joined the Edincare Production Team and it’s his turn to answer 4 big questions.

Why did you apply for a role at Edincare?
I was looking for a career change. A new job that would allow me to learn new skills. Honestly, when I applied for the Production and Warehouse role at Edincare, I did not think I would receive a positive response as I had no background in pump drainage. I was so pleased when I got the job.

What did you do before joining Edincare?
I had been a Warehouse Operative, done General labouring jobs, a waiter and a cook.

What has been something surprising about the job or the company?
A good working environment to go along with a good set of peers within the Production and Warehouse department. Everyone helps each other, shares their opinions and respects each person’s working style. Support is there within the company, and you are treated as an individual not just a number.

Do you have any advice or tips for other people thinking of becoming a Pump Engineer?
Just be yourself, be ready to learn and do not fear the unknown. All tasks within the Production, Warehouse and Pump Engineer departments can be learned. There are always people willing and ready to help you, if you ask.
