INTRODUCTIONA foul water packaged pumping station was required urgently for a new basement construction in Southwest London. METHODThe client, a civil engineering company who specialises in basement construction, sent us the drainage drawings for the project along with the pump station requirements. A project manager was assigned and a quote was raised to match the specifications. We maintain a stock of our MagnaPro chambers which range in size from Ø 650 mm to Ø 1800 mm (Ø 2400mm are available to order). A stocked chamber (Ø 1250 mm x 2000 mmD) was selected for speed of supply. All internal parts were held in stocked, enabling our production team to build the pumping station immediately. The station features 2½” PVC internal pipework, galvanised steel guide rails, shackles and brackets, and two powerful single-phase vortex pumps. The pumping station was delivered to site on our flatbed HIAB vehicle for installation. Once the site’s groundworks were completed, our expert pump engineers attended to commission the pumping station. A service agreement proposal will be sent to the customer to provide planned preventative maintenance. RESOLUTIONA packaged pumping station, which matched the drainage consultant’s design, was delivered to site to meet the project’s tight schedule. The award-winning MagnaPro includes many features which will enhance reliability and eases of maintenance. Our highly-trained team of site engineers are dispersed nationwide so that any site can be attended in a timely manner. The commissioned pumping station.
